  • 300g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 200g egg noodles
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
  • Spring onions & sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add another 1 tbsp oil if needed, then stir-fry the garlic, ginger, and vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and cornstarch slurry.
  6. Return the beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir until the sauce thickens.
  7. Add the noodles and toss everything together until well coated.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with spring onions and sesame seeds if desired.
